It's a small thing, but we are always trying to push our data as far back as possible and we've added (thanks to Brian Cartwright and Ted Turocy) Korea Baseball Organization stats back to 1999. This doesn't get us all of Seung-Yeop Lee's career stats, but pretty close.
Enjoy. Cuban stats are up next.

Positional differences and performance by position are interesting ways to look at team performance. For instance as Phillies fan I know that CF and LF are hurting the Phillies, but just how much are they hurting relative to the league. This tool answers that question and many many more. (answer: a whole lot of hurt)
You select a year, the league and a stat, and we rank every team at each position by that stat and in some cases a summary of positions. This uses our positional splits to allot stats to positions or in some cases a prorated assignment of WAR and related stats by time played at each position. Now in one table you can see the worst or best team-positions in baseball.
There are some additional tools that allow you to highlight a particular team and mousing over a table cell informs you the players involved in producing that value.
I like this output so much I've also added it to our base league pages just below the pitching stats.

I'm not sure why it took me 8 years to do this, but you can now search for walkoffs in the game finder play index tools.
Using the game finder you can find all of the walkoff wins and losses for your team. Using the controls at the top you can even see who's had the most walkoff wins or losses in a season. Please keep in mind that this is 100% complete back to 1974 and then will get progressively less complete back to 1940, though still pretty good. You can always check our coverage page to figure out what might be missing. When searching for walkoffs, we will also print out the type of play and the batter and pitcher involved, since we know that's what you want to see.

You can now search for attendance related searches on the Team Game and Streak Finders. This allows you to find things like which teams have had the most 15,000 fans or less games in a season. Or which teams have the longest streaks of 40,000 fans or more. Enjoy.

Folks seemed to like the hitter's pitching option, so I've added a pitcher's in the field option. Check the box shown below and then click the set of positions you want above to see an output. For instance, get a list of PH home runs by pitchers.

We've gotten a couple of requests for this, and it's true that non-pitcher pitching is WAY up this year despite 7 and 8 man bullpens and reduced run scoring. The option is in the third column. See below:
There is a caveat on this. We are including players who mostly played as position players in this list, so searching for 1915 will return a whole lot of Babe Ruth and similarly Rick Ankiel and Brooks Kieschnick will show up in 2004 searches. Be warned.

Due to a need to replace a faulty power supply the sites will be down for hopefully just a few minutes tomorrow afternoon as the power supply is being replace. The work is scheduled to occur sometime between 1 and 3 pm ET and should affect only our CFB, CBB and Olympics sites and this blog. Should a longer outage be necessary or any additional sites be affected, we will post any updates to our twitter accounts.

The pitching table is getting pretty wide on the team and player pages, so we've added a new little twist to our player pages (soon to be on team and league pages) where if you hold your mouse over the save column for a pitcher a little box pops up and it will show you the blown saves, save opps, save situations and holds for that pitcher. See the screenshot below.
This data is already on the "More Stats" page linked just above the pitcher's primary stats, but not everyone makes it onto those pages.

This is a subtle one, but as you may know play-by-play and ergo certain split data like platoon info and count data is not complete back to 1914. We have 100% of play-by-play back to 1973 and the 98%+ back to 1954. Details Here.
So we are now allowing you to exclude the split seasons from the Play Index Split Finder where incomplete totals may occur, so a pre 1973 platoon split, or a pre 1988 by count split.
See the location of this checkbox below.
