An NFL "reject" known for his improvised running patterns, Don caught on with the new AFL. As Namath's favorite receiver, his biggest day was 12/29/68 (AFL championship): he caught six passes for 118 yards + 2 TDs to power the NY Jets past Oakland, 27-23.
