• March 22, 2006: Broncos sent 2006 1st round pick (29th overall, Nick Mangold) to Jets. Broncos sent 2006 3rd round pick (93rd overall subsequently traded , Dominique Byrd) and 2007 4th round pick (121st overall subsequently traded , Marcus Thomas) to Falcons. Jets sent John Abraham to Falcons. Falcons sent 2006 1st round pick (15th overall subsequently traded , Tye Hill) to Broncos.
• April 19, 2006: Traded 2006 1st round pick (22nd overall, Manny Lawson) to 49ers for 2006 2nd round pick (37th overall subsequently traded , Jimmy Williams) and 2006 3rd round pick (68th overall subsequently traded , Claude Wroten)
• April 29, 2006: Traded 2006 1st round pick (15th overall, Tye Hill) and 2006 3rd round pick (68th overall, Claude Wroten) to Rams for 2006 1st round pick (11th overall, Jay Cutler)
• April 29, 2006: Traded 2006 2nd round pick (37th overall subsequently traded , Jimmy Williams) to Packers for Javon Walker
• August 18, 2006: Traded Charlie Adams to Cowboys for 2007 5th round pick (Trade not exercised, Adams failed physical)
• August 24, 2006: Broncos sent Ashley Lelie to Falcons. Redskins sent 2007 3rd round pick (70th overall, Ryan Harris) and 2008 4th round pick (119th overall, Jack Williams) to Broncos. Falcons sent T.J. Duckett to Redskins.
