Playing for the team from 1961 to 1967, Daniels was known for his speed, versatility, and ability to dominate both as a rusher and receiver. He led the AFL in rushing yards in 1963 with 1,099 and was named the league’s Most Outstanding Player that season.

When he retired, he was the AFL’s all-time leader in rushing yards with 5,101. His ability to catch passes out of the backfield also set him apart, making him a dual-threat weapon. Clem Daniels remains one of the most respected figures in Raiders history and was inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor.
